Study Notes: Working Scientifically
'The Aim of Science is not to open the door
to infinite wisdom...
But to set a limit to infinite error.'
Bertoit Brecht ( 1898 - 1956)
The unit examines the experimental methodology required to plan a fair and accurate scientific investigation. This includes selecting equipment, identifying variables to be changed, measured and controlled, and the analysis of data that provides evidence to support justifiable conclusions. Appropriate use of scientific language and representations to communicate science ideas, methods and findings is also considered.
